The year was 2001. When I first stepped into the role of a mentor, I had no idea that "passing the torch" to those in need would eventually redefine my entire world. At the time, I didn't fit the mould of the "perfect" student. While my peers were securing top marks in Maths and Science, I was hovering in the 70-80% range—solid, but by no means a standout.

However, as the educational landscape evolved, I realised that being "average" was actually my greatest asset. It forced me to stop skimming the surface and start diving deep.

In many traditional educational systems, the focus is often on the final grade. But for me, the "need of the era" demanded something more: mastery through depth. I began revisiting the subjects that once intimidated me, discovering that confidence isn't born from innate talent, but from rigorous understanding.

The old adage "practice makes perfect" became my mantra. As I transformed my own relationship with learning, I saw a parallel shift in my students. They weren't just memorising formulas; they were gaining momentum. This newfound confidence was immediately reflected in their results, and what started as a job quickly became a lifelong passion.

Over the last quarter-century, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring over 5,000 students. Watching them navigate various global educational systems—from the structured rigour of STEM to the creative freedom of the Arts—has been the ultimate reward.

The name stands for a simple but powerful mission: Learning for students through teachers across the globe with a slogan 'Collaborating Professionals Globally'.

We believe that the mentor-student relationship should extend far beyond the classroom syllabus. Whether it’s the rhythm of a musical instrument, the discipline of Yoga, the creativity of cooking, or the expression of dance and drawing, LearnPTL is a platform designed to connect experts with eager minds in every discipline imaginable.

After 25 years, the goal remains the same: to prove that no matter where you start—even if you’re just an "average" student in the back of the class—the right mentorship can turn your curiosity into a world-changing career.
